365 Days of Blessings - Day 85

365 Days of Blessings, Day 85

All in a day's walk:

1. One mile walk on a suburban country road.

2. Two dogs.

3. Three cotton-tailed rabbits.

4. Only four cars drove past me during the whole walk.

5. The rustles of wind through the poplar trees by the road.

6. The chuckle of a bird in the bushes.

7. The yellow-white light of sunrise on the horizon burning the dark clouds away. The sky is mostly blue now.

8. The feathery soft look of a cedar tree with upturned branch tips.

9. Wild grass, and bishop's weed growing tall on both sides of a white picket fence.

10. The neighborhood rose garden . . . countless roses on an embankment just above the roadway.

Scripture Blessing for the Day:
"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."
Matthew 6:19-21
